Fall 2016 Schedule

Fall Schedule begins September 6th!

As we transition through the first part of August, we can begin to notice subtle changes in nature. The days become ever so slightly shorter. The air takes on a softer quality. Markets are laden with produce – peaches, corn, new potatoes, tomatoes in abundance. August 1st in the Celtic calendar marks Lammas or Lughnasadh which is the first of three autumn harvests. Lammas or “Loaf Mass” honours a time when bread made from the first harvest of grain was offered in gratitude.

While we still have several weeks of summer weather to enjoy, our thoughts naturally begin to turn towards autumn. 

To assist you in your fall planning, here is an update of our class schedule at Yoga East.

Valerie Hobson:

Fall Session I –  Tuesday September 6th – Wednesday October 26th   (8 weeks)
Fall Session II – Tuesday November 1st – Wednesday December 21st (8 weeks)

Valerie’s Class Schedule:

Tuesday       9:30 – 10:45      gentle yoga and meditation   
Wednesday  9:30 – 10:45      mixed level

 
Fees
$90.00 to register for 8 week session
Drop in – $14.00
5 class pass for three months – $65.00
Cash or cheque only payable to Valerie Hobson

Registration is strongly recommended due to limited space. Drop ins and those on a pass can only be accommodated if there is enough space.

Catherine Heighway:

Fall Session – Monday October 17th – Thursday December 22nd (10 weeks)

Catherine’s Class Schedule:
Monday     11:00 – 12:15   mixed level  
Thursday   10:30 – 11:45   mixed level  

Fees:
$113.00 to register for 10 week session
Drop in – $14.00
5 class pass for three months – $65.00
Cash or cheque only payable to Catherine Heighway

Restorative Yoga

Valerie will again be offering Restorative Yoga Classes on Sunday afternoons as follows:

Dates: September 18th, October 16th, November 20th and December 18th

Time: 1:15 – 2:30 p.m.

Fee: $15.00 per class or $60.00 for all four classes

Day of Mindfulness

Saturday, November 5th
10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
RiverBend Golf Community, London

Fee: $75.00 including lunch
 

 
Join us for a spacious and peaceful day of mindful movement, yoga and meditation in the beautiful clubhouse library at RiverBend Golf Community, 1200 Sandy Somerville Drive, London. We love teaching at Yoga East! It’s very quiet,clean and beautiful space wonderfully conducive to our yoga teaching. Located at 537 Ontario Street, at the corner of Ontario and Princess St. There is lots of free all day parking on both Ontario and Princess Streets within a few steps of the studio. Please come and join us!
