Fall Schedule
We are continuing with part one of our fall session which will finish on October 30th. The second fall session will begin on November 2nd and run for 7 weeks, finishing on December 18th.

Students are welcome to join a session at anytime. Registration fees will be prorated. You are also welcome to drop in or purchase a 10 class pass valid for 6 months.

With the cooler weather arriving, it’s a great time to move indoors and take yoga classes to help support your physical health and emotional wellbeing through the coming months. To see our fall schedule, please click here.

A reminder there is no class on Thanksgiving Monday, October 12th.

Restorative Yoga

 

 
 
Valerie will be offering Restorative Yoga Classes on Sunday afternoons – October 25th and November 22nd from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Give yourself the gift of time to consciously relax your body and rest your mind. Whether you think of Sunday as the end or the beginning of your week, it is a perfect time to take a break with this quiet yoga practice. Registration is required. Please call, email or register in person. $12.00 per class.

Winter Retreat at Five Oaks Retreat Centre
Paris, Ontario
January 22nd – 24th, 2016

There is a hushed magic in the darkest time of the year. Time spent moving more deeply inward is a gift we can receive from the long dark period of winter. Yoga practice in the winter can be more internal and subtle in order for us to recognize the regeneration of our core energy. Meditation and reflection will also be used to replenish our energy in this peaceful setting.

During this retreat we will offer daily yoga and meditation sessions suitable for all levels, take time for rest, reflection and being in nature, walk the indoor labyrinth together and take part in other group activities in front of a cozy fireplace.

Addendum To September 2015

  

 

Fall Schedule Update

Unfortunately, we have to cancel the Tuesday early evening class – 5:15 – 6:30 p.m.

We were informed late yesterday that there is a conflict at the studio. There is a dance class scheduled in the lower studio at that time. This would not be conducive to teaching or participating in a yoga class in the upper studio.

Happily, there will be no dance class in the lower studio during Valerie’s Thursday early evening class – 5:15 – 6:30 p.m. so it should be quieter. We hope that this time slot will meet the needs of those looking for a class in the early evening.

We are sorry to disappoint those wanting to start or resume the Tuesday early evening 5:15 – 6:30 p.m. class and hope that you will still join us at Spanda Yoga!

Fall Schedule

We are excited to be making the transition into the fall as we welcome September and the start of our 2015/2016 sessions!

Just a reminder, there will be no classes during the week of August 31st.

Fall Session Part I will begin on Tuesday, September 8th, after Labour Day and run for 8 weeks.

We are making a few changes in the Fall Session:

Adding: Tuesday evening 5:15 – 6:30 p.m. and Friday morning 10:30 – 11:45 a.m. with Catherine

Changing: Thursday evening 5:15 to a Gentle Yoga and Meditation class with Valerie

Please use the upper rear door at 432 Waterloo Street.  Look for our sandwich sign by the sidewalk.

10 Class Pass Returning!
Starting in September, Spanda Yoga will again be offering the convenience of a 10 class pass.Valid for 6 months from the date of purchase. $130.00 for 10 classes, a savings of $10.00 for drop in students! Payable by cash or cheque.

Through the use of yoga props, the body is held in supportive positions to help create deep feelings of relaxation, peacefulness and healing.  Use the practice to help ease into the fullness of fall schedules and the return to routines! Suitable for all levels of experience.

Registration preferred as space is limited. $12.00 per class to register, $14.00 to drop in.
